male Emperor Dragonfly |
On the way to Gower I stopped at Pluck Lake and found 10 Species on the wing. The Red-eyed Damselfly were on view and a good showing of Black-tailed Skimmers here too.

Great shot of the Emperor!
Lots of Keeled Skimmers and a few Scarce Blue-tails around some small pools on colliery spoil at Aberpergwm yesterday, plus a Common Hawker exuva next to the tiniest bog pool.
Thanks Barry. And some nice records there, for NPT. I was hoping for Keeled Skimmer yesterday but no luck. Also Pluck Lake looks right for Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly but no sign.
