Sitting down to
food at 4.15, Sandra spotted a bee on the Tête à Tête Daffodils on the outside
window sill. I nipped out and squeezing itself into the small trumpets was a big queen Tree Bee (Bombus hypnorum). Needless to say by the time I grabbed the camera she'd moved on. That makes two sightings already in what I suspect will be a bumper year for this recent colonist.
