Pontrhydyfen Fungi.

 This violet fungi was growing at the base of a Spruce tree.
This large fungi was growing on trees and open ground.
Any ID help appreciated.

Paul,
The fungus in the second photo is Armillaria mellea (Honey Fungus).
The violet fungus in the first photo is a little bit more difficult to identify without having the specimen in hand. However it looks like Cortinarius violaceus (Violet Webcap) - the habitat is dead right.

The first is new to science and will be names Purplus Parsonus in honour of Paul actually leaving the llynfi valley to hunt and gather. Well done
