Butterflies at Eglyws Nunydd

Nice warm afternoon, out of the wind, at Eglwys Nunydd today convinced a few Butterflies to fly around. 1 Small White, 1 Brimstone, 1 Small Tortoiseshell and 2+ PeacockThis Brimstone, showed pretty well, unfortunately the video doesn't do it justice. Listen for the Cetti's at the end. They often respond to a bit of disturbance, like chasing a Brimstone into the reeds!

1 Drake Scaup on show at the res today with 3 Goldeneye and 59 Tufted Duck. Lots of Chiffchaff (40+), some Willow Warbler (15+) and 1 Blackcap on show in the bushes around the res.

I know, they should be getting better, not worse! I am finding the limitations of the camera, or is it limitations of the cameraman? Don't answer that.

Altough you can't compete with the digital SLRs, what you can do is get valuable record shots. Continue the good work Mark and keep the photos coming...
