Oxwich Marsh ringing

The last ringing session of the year at Oxwich Marsh this morning saw a few Sedge and Reed Warblers still lingering. There were also a couple of Cetti's Warblers, 1 Willow Warbler, 9 Chiffchaffs and a very handsome Snipe.

Nice shots Barry. A dog walker that I know from Crymlyn Burrows told me he has noticed more Snipe this year than in a long time. Hopefully that will bring in a Jack Snipe, something I still need.

Have a good stomp around the rushes at SS727924 in a month or two. This is a great site for Jack Snipe; I have seen up to 6 here.

Thanks for the tip Barry. I'll be giving it a try and I'll let you know.
