Male December moth
Female December mothAfter the cold spell it was nice to see my first December moths of the year (just). Six came to an outside light 4 males and 2 females one of which laid some eggs in the pot I had put her in.

Nice one David. I have seen Winter Moths in various locations over the last couple of days - incredible how quickly they've responded to the milder weather.
Hi David, really lovely shots. I've seen lots of moths in the lanes whilst driving the past couple of nights.
