The eastern dip-slope of Rhossili Down has some fantastic bog communities which support an excellent range of plants and insects. Here are a few noted last Saturday, the 18th June:

amongst Sphagnum mosses |

Bog Asphodel (Narthecium ossifragum)
masses at this site just starting to flower |
