At 8 oC it should be feeling positively tropical tomorrow, but over the last few days with most water frozen up, keeping the bird bath ice-free has ensured a steady stream of birds visiting the garden. A Mistle Thrush that is guarding a berry-laden Holly over the road from us very rarely visits our garden, so it was pleasing to see it in the bird bath today making the most of the local facilities.
